Do you know there are people saying you offed Terry?” Mickey snorts but Ian keeps him looking in his eyes. “Everyone knows you’re a fucking bad ass. Everyone knows where you came from and what you’re capable of. No one cares you married some fag, and no one is going to care if you end up in a fucking condo on the west side. If anything, they will think you’re even more of a bad ass because you got a sweet ass place to live and you’re driving around thousands of dollars and transporting weed in a fucking armored truck. When they think of Mickey Milkovich, they aren't going to think of you as Terry’s kid anymore. You aren't going to be in his shadow anymore. Milkovich will be your name now, not his. You can make that name mean something else."
