All the players are probably straight boys who’d call me slurs-" he dodges Piper's glare "-and they’re all the types to spend the rest of their lives reminding everyone they played college football because this is their peak."
Piper finally manages to grab his arm, then tips her head meaningfully up.
He turns around warily, ready to roll his eyes. “What’s up with you–”
