How he knew he’d never see Pepper again—but they’d fixed it. They’d fixed the world, erased the lost time, set things right—and the kid was back. or: peter parker does actually work at stark industries as an intern, but tony doesn’t know spiderman’s real identity at all, or peter parker…until an avengers fight ends with him needing to track the secret hero down.

It started three weeks ago, almost four. Will had woken from some sort of nightmare and, instead of seeking comfort in Mike the way he usually would, he’d rolled out a sleeping bag from the closet and chosen to sleep on the floor.
