Summary
Louis is grateful for the tired soreness Lestat put inside of him—a discovery like this is close enough to some sort of fairytale fantasy that his muscles are ready to tense in embarrassment, but they can’t. The more Louis lays, motionless, the more the sounds—their synchronized breathing, matching drums of their hearts—soothe his thoughts. Lull his body back to sleep. Like another part of him is already sleeping.
