The Radiance has been defeated. And along with her fall, so comes the end of the infection. The Hollow Knight is freed from its sealed imprisonment and now has the freedom to explore the kingdom of Hallownest as it wishes. Over time, new bugs begin to arrive at Dirtmouth. And as new threats arise, the Hollow Knight has to ask itself if it has what it takes to rebuild the Kingdom and protect the bugs that live within it.

This story warmed my cold heart searching for a fic about the events post “embrace the void” ending. Really, I was craving a future events for the hollow knight alive allow to live his life as a really living being, not a vessel. It’s a really good one and the story is very creative and exactly how I imagine Hollow deserves/would live, alongside with the idea of hallownest returning to being a life fully city.
