A Mondstadtian Summer meant several things in the Court of Fontaine.
The most common meaning referred to an unseasonably humid summer that usually followed a season of heavy rain in Mondstadt.
The second meaning was far more lurid, referring to the sickeningly sweet period in new relationships when a couple rutted like a pair of shameless Mondstadtians.

Jealous and possessive were not the words he would use to describe himself, but as of late he had been feeling just that, very possessive and very jealous. His mate was one of the most, if not the most, beautiful women in the clan. He was not surprised to catch lingering glances as she passed throughout the common area. In his former life, he didn’t mind the stares. Knowing someone else found his partner desirable had been a bit of a turn on for him when he was human, and he took it as a compliment. Just as he finished setting up the link, the screen flashed a few times before going dark. The buzz of the pod sputtered to a stop, like an old truck on its last few miles of life. Not a healthy comparison.
Jake frowned, but before he could even think to whack some sense back into the machine, the lights came back on, and all the link data came rushing back to the screen.
Okay, then.
He glanced wearily over his shoulder, almost expecting Norm to appear out of nowhere to tell him he’d set the machine up wrong. He knows he did it right - but it’d never done that, before.
