Summary
“Doctor Robby,” Dennis said, shaking his head, “randomly showing up at the same bar I’m at isn’t interfering. I don't own Pittsburgh’s queer scene.”
Robby’s face pinked, and he smoothed his palm down the short hairs at his nape. “Okay, well, it won’t happen again, and I apologize if I made you feel uncomfortable.”
How many times can Dennis see his boss at the same gay bar before it starts to feel like more than a coincidence?

Summary
The box looks out of place.
Maybe it belongs somewhere else.
Dennis picks it up, inside there are two faux-leather brown journals.
Dennis just looks at them for a moment before picking one up, they’re pretty.
Before thinking about it, he opens it, and the chicken scratch handwriting that he has associated with Robby welcomes him on the first page.
September 26th, 2025.
I haven’t hand-written anything that isn’t a prescription or residence reports in a long time-
Dennis snaps it close.
Those are Robby’s journals. Personal journals.
Those are Robby’s diaries.

Summary
"Smack in the middle of the chaos is Dennis Whitaker. Dennis, dressed like he’s fresh off the bus from Nebraska in farm-boy workboots, Levi’s, a plain white t-shirt and faded yellow flannel. He sticks out like a sore thumb and something in Robby clenches at the sight of Dennis, his Dennis, surrounded by the debauchery of the place Robby used to go to make bad decisions."
Or:
When Robby gets a text from an emotional Dennis Whitaker at 1:00 am, Robby assumes the worst. But when Robby rushes in to save the day, he finds that Dennis wants something other than saving, and Robby must decide what he's willing to risk to give it to him
Takes place sometime between season one and two.

Summary
Dennis Whitaker has been hiding his Type 1 Diabetes behind rationed insulin and a practiced smile for years. When his insurance decides to take a shit, so does the fragile balance he’s been clinging to. Of course, Dr. Robby notices the tremor in his hands long before Dennis ever speaks a word — and offers a solution Dennis never expected: a fake marriage to get him covered.
It’s supposed to be practical. Temporary. Nothing more.
But when they have to pretend to be in love to prove they are in a "Bona fide marriage" nothing stays simple. Especially when someone finally sees you.
