It was even more mortifying because of the specific costume he was trying to fit into; he still didn't understand how he’d even let himself be convinced not just to dress up, but to agree to wear this specific costume, matching whit Stan once again, after literally decades of not doing so.
And not just any costume, a romantic couple's costume for the love of God!

Summary
Stanley presses harder, ignoring the cry of pain, digging his nails into Ford's thighs and pulling him back when he tries to move away from the source of the pain. It's cruel, he knows, but he still doesn't plan to stop. For the simple reason that Stan knows he deserves it.
It's that simple.
He won, he deserves it.
He activated the portal, brought his brother back, killed the devil incarnate, saved his family, saved the world.
And more importantly, he saved Ford.
He deserves the celebration, he deserves the applause, he deserves the credit.
And above all else, Stanley deserves his prize.

Summary
The beast bares its teeth, letting out a growl so deep and low that it rumbles in Ford's gut, and without taking its eyes off the man in front of it, it begins to rise with difficulty, snorting and roaring, until Ford is able to see it clearly.
Heavy, huge, imposing.
Dangerous.
A wild and feral beast that could kill him with a single bite, that could rip his heart out with a single swipe, that could do whatever it wanted with him without Ford being able to do anything but take it all.
And, oh, isn't it hot here?
