   Summary

   Modern Day Republic City is just like any other place. Accidents happen and people dedicate themselves to serving the community, people like Korra. As the daughter of the recently retired chief Tonrak Korra has known she's wanted to be a firefighter since she was old enough to slide down the pole. Now that her dream has become reality however she will learn that being a Hero isn't all it's chalked up to be.

   This is my first fic so hopefully it does well! As someone studying fire and emergency services I hope I am accurate but everyone makes mistakes so don't hesitate to let me know!
