“Soooo, how long have you been trying to ask me out?” Charles asked him cheekily, right before licking the lavender side of his gelato. “Or were you actually following the tour because you’re a fan?”
Max widened his eyes; he couldn’t believe those accusations. He scooped a spoon of his own gelato, then he scoffed. “Yes, I am a fan.”
Charles leaned towards him, still smiling, his eyes glistening with amusement. “What’s your favourite song of Rosi’s?” Charles stared at him. Max stared back, mouth agape. He tried to think of a song, he was sure he knew at least one that could pass off as his favourite. “I knew it,” Charles added, with that same smug smile.

“So, Jeon.” Taehyung began, stepping into the escalator and watching Jeongguk from beneath. “What are your plans now that we’re in New York?”
“Hm,” Jeongguk picked his phone to check his hair on the camera, yawning a little and fixing his fringe. “I don’t know, Captain. Pizza and then bed? Why? Do you have any recommendations?”
Taehyung laughed, fixing Jeongguk’s crooked tie and biting his lip. He looked around them to check if anyone was paying attention, but only saw some distracted Thai Airways crew members. Knowing they wouldn't be tattled on, Taehyung slid his finger up Jeongguk's neck and held his chin, tilting his head down. “You know. The usual.”

Some people love traveling because of the places they get to visit, but for Jeongguk traveling was all about the soft murmur of the engine as the aircraft cut through the clouds. He fell in love with flying without realizing it, and he always thought that the skies would be his one and only love for the rest of his life.
If only a handsome and polite Captain hadn't stepped into it on his way to Manila.
