Wei Wuxian never would have believed he was a cut-sleeve until he met a man as good as Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji was one of the best men Wei Wuxian has ever known; always going where there was chaos, helping those in need, being virtuous, righteous, and always the most beautiful man in Wei Wuxian’s eye. He knew he was blessed to have a husband as wonderful as Hanguang-Jun, who spoiled him with affection anytime Wei Wuxian whined for it.
Wei Wuxian wasn’t the jealous type. Even when others tended to overlook him, their attention focusing on his gorgeous Hanguang-Jun, trying to get him for themselves, Wei Wuxian never felt jealous. Lan Wangji’s constant attention and adoration for him made him feel secure and loved, never doubting their dedication to each other. It irritated him when people ignored their relationship, solely based on them both being men, and treated Lan Wangji like he was still an available bachelor, but no, Wei Wuxian wasn’t jealous. He only hoped that he managed to show his husband just how much he loved him in return. Anyone with eyes could see that they were together, they were perfect for one another. They all could see that Wei Wuxian loved Lan Wangji just as much as the other. Right?

Summary
Wei Wuxian pressed his face into his pillow and screamed. He paused to take a few deep breaths, partially hindered by the pillow, and listened to the sounds of Nie Huaisang slurping his iced coffee, from his seat on Wei Wuxian's desk chair.
Having caught his breath, he resumed his screaming and did not stop at the sound of his dorm room door opening.
"What's wrong with him?" He heard his brother, Jiang Cheng, ask.
The slurping stopped. "He's an idiot."
"He's always been an idiot. Why is he bothered about it now?"
"He forced Lan Wangji to go on a date," Nie Huaisang replied, shaking the ice cubes in his drink.
"Okay and…?"
"With someone else." The slurping resumed.
Wei Wuxian, in all his glorious dumbassery, convinces his boyfriend to go on a date with someone else.
