Her cloak fluttered around her, covering her entire body and leaving nothing but a flash of knee-high boots when it shifted. Ugly, hideous, beautiful; so, so beautiful. He had been worried that Lucy would change over the years they'd been together, but he shouldn't have. That was a relief some days and a curse on others.
He tried not to think of her death as a blessing, but he did when he thought a bit too hard about the friends who would die before him. They could be together forever; the thought disgusts him. Not because he hates Lucy, he could never, but because her death shouldn't bring him joy for a single second.

Summary
“Agh!” it wasn’t a loud yell, just enough to release the tiniest amount of his pent-up rage and fear. Maybe he should talk to his therapist after all. A knock on his door jolted him from his whirling thoughts and the ocean he was so close to drowning in. He turned to look at his destroyed balcony door, the proof of his losing control. Black Whip finally settled, though the tendrils did not return to his body. The quirk merely stayed dormant, writhing on the ground or curling gently around him as if it were trying to hug him; to calm him.
“You worry too much,” he mumbled as if his quirk could hear him. It’s not like it had a consciousness but sometimes it seemed like it just did whatever it wanted. It could also be that Izuku wanted comfort and subconsciously used his quirk to do it. A smile played on his lips. Maybe he could face whoever was at his door with the cold comfort of One For All.

Summary
Except, this was the first time Izuku had joined them for a party and the first time he’d had more than a single drink at a party. Everyone’s breath hitched as the bottle landed on Izuku, and Katsuki sneered, his eyes shining with mischief. Izuku smirked, “Dare.” He took another sip of his shitty beer and waited for Katsuki’s move.
Katsuki leaned in, close enough that Izuku could feel his breath against his cheek, then against his ear. Izuku thanked the gods that he had been drinking because now he could blame the alcohol for the heat that burned his face. It even reached the tips of his ears.
It was a low whisper, one that only Izuku could hear, “Tell me a secret.” And of course, Izuku immediately frowned, cursing the fact he’d chosen dare because damnit, there’s no way he can back down now. Not with Katsuki being the opponent this round.

“This is, without a doubt, the stupidest plan you’ve ever fucking had,” Katsuki paused, letting himself think about it for less than a second, “I’m in.”
“Great!” Izuku did a quick fist pump into the air as if he’d just won the fucking lottery, “You won’t regret it!” His eyes were shining and something twisted in the pit of Katsuki’s stomach, his instincts screaming that this was a bad idea. Then again, Izuku’s plans were guaranteed to go poorly.
“I doubt it.” Izuku blatantly ignored Katsuki’s disgruntled muttering, and if it were anyone else, Katsuki would have said no, with zero hesitation. Except, this wasn’t just anyone; this was Izuku. Midoriya ‘I get us into trouble’ Izuku, and he was Bakugou 'I get us out of trouble’ Katsuki. There was no place Izuku could go that Katsuki would not follow. Izuku would get himself killed otherwise.
