FengQing Week 2025: Day 1 - Land of Tender
With Xie Lian's recent ascension as a martial god, Feng Xin and Mu Qing have been overwhelmed with missions and tasks to fulfill, while Dianxia has been busy with his own prayers to answer. With Xie Lian out of town for a few days, Mu Qing had been instructed to handle some demons that had been terrorizing a small town on the outskirts of Xianle. However, something goes terribly wrong, and now Feng Xin has to deal with the consequences.
Fortunately, it seems like the consequences weren't all that bad to deal with, at least at face value.

Mu Qing stared at the professor as if he would jump at his throat at any moment. He felt his eyes bulge out of his face, his hands trembling with pure rage, crumpling the side of the paper.
"Are you serious?!" He tried not to choke on his own venom, his posture wavered, and his anger flared when the professor stared at him with indifference.
"The pairs have already been made, I'm sure you two will get along well with the assignment."
Or, where Mu Qing is the smartest nerd in class who has OCD, while Feng Xin is the most popular guy in school and is utterly sloppy, making the relationship between the two hateful (until they discover something that lies deep within their hearts…)

Summary
He wants their silent language to kick in, the way they can sometimes share thoughts across crowded rooms — for Feng Xin to understand what he needs, take control, and fuck his throat. He wants the universe to contract, to narrow to this singular point of contact, to the brutal, insistent pressure at the back of his throat, to the sensation of being used until conscious thought dissolves.
Unfortunately, Feng Xin seems too focused on the road to get it. He keeps his hands steady on the steering wheel, blinkers on to move to the right even though there is no one else on the road.
Mu Qing’s body curves awkwardly in the passenger seat, but he welcomes the discomfort, the heavy weight of Feng Xin’s arm coming to settle across his back, grounding him, making him feel small. Feng Xin’s voice is a low growl, most of which Mu Qing filters out with the hum of the engine. Only a rough moan of baby cuts through the noise – an endearment he can't decide if he hates or desperately wants to hear more often.
Mu Qing is feeling too many things on the hour-and-a-half road back home. He conveniently, also has the most effective way to shut his brain off sitting in the driver's seat.
