“Come on, Addams, you know the drill,” Tyler said, dangling the handcuffs with a sneer, “Or are you going to give me a reason to use force?”
She bared her teeth at him. “I believe you’re supposed to tell me why I’m being arrested.”
He smirked cruelly. “You happen to be a suspect in a murder case. Why do you think I’m arresting you?”
From the corner of her eye, she saw Enid make her way over to Bianca, Yoko, Divina, and Kent. “Considering your track record, you could be arresting me because the sky is blue.”
His face contorted in anger, and he took a step forward, using his taller stature in an attempt to intimidate her. “Turn the fuck around, put your hands behind your back, and shut the fuck up.”
She smirked, complying with his request. There were plenty of witnesses in her favor, not to mention the person filming the moment from upstairs. And she shouldn’t push him with Enid in the room. She didn’t want to force that side of her mate out if she didn’t have to. Even though the thought was enough to have her wet.A story of corruption, fighting against a broken system, and somehow- in the midst of it all- loving others and yourself.

Summary

Though set in the John Wick AU, you don't really need to watch the series to get what's happening, the references are subtle enough.

Somewhere on the upper floors, there was the sound of breaking glass, followed by loud cursing in Italian. The Thing ran down the stairs in a panic and hurried into the dining room where Enid was busy unpacking boxes with headphones in her ears, dancing in place. She didn't immediately realize what was happening and nearly kicked the poor appendage out of fear when it grabbed her by the hem of her pajama pants. Pulling out her headphones, Sinclair realized immediately that something strange was going on without even deciphering the messages from the Thing's empathetic fingers. After all, seeing and hearing the always calm, reserved, and murderously cold Wednesday Addams curse in Italian and throw things was not for the faint of heart.
