Summary
Homey. That’s the word Buck used to describe Eddie's bedroom. Deep down Eddie knew that one day his bedroom would officially become their bedroom, and he knew he needed to make it nice for them.
Or: the fic where countless people commented on Eddie’s lack of bedroom decor, but Buck’s opinion was the only one that mattered to him.

Summary
"Buck, Eddie, I figured you are both at Buck’s apartment. Wanted to send a heads up that we have been directed to cut the power in that section of L.A. in about a half hour. Sorry boys, feel free to come to the station in the morning to shower or get cold water."
Or: Buck's apartment has air conditioning during a city-wide power outage, so he invites Eddie to come over to stay cool.

Summary
“Uh, Eddie, I had a dream last night where I said a lot of things to you. Uh.. private things.” Buck looked painfully shy, which was unlike him.
Eddie smiled again. “You weren’t dreaming, my friend.” Buck’s eyes went wide at this information. Eddie made a mental note at how quickly Buck was able to snap out of his drunkenness and into panic mode.
Eddie cut him off as he opened his mouth. He now knew that Buck was a talker. “Listen, Buck. It’s okay, we all say things we don’t mean when we had too much to drink.”
“That’s the thing, though.” Buck began, rubbing his eyes. “I meant them, Eddie."
Or, Buck drunkenly tells Eddie that he wants him to be his husband...

Summary
“Don’t worry your pretty little head about it,” Eddie said, beginning to relax into sleep himself. “Go to sleep.”
“You think I’m pretty?” Buck said quietly, in a dreamlike manner.
Or, the beginning of a relationship they both knew was inevitable.

Summary
“Good thing you're not the one sucking my dick then.” The words are conversational as they fall from Eddie’s lips, as if they aren’t crazy. As if the words you’re, sucking, and my dick aren’t making Bucks mind blank. He sips his beer and tries to be nonchalant.
“You think I couldn't make you moan?” Buck's tone is undeniably cocky, reflecting a feeling he's not sure if he's really feeling at the moment. Confidence summoning from god knows where. Buck thinks the part of his brain that is in love with Eddie just Does Shit and the rest of his brain just lets it happen.
“I know you couldn't, that's the whole topic of this conversation.” And it really goes to show just how truly gone Buck is on Eddie, because he can't help himself before he's uttering-
“Can I try?”

Summary
Out of all the bad decisions Eddie has ever made. This one takes the cake. What did he think would happen when he's watching porn in broad daylight at the kitchen table?
He can tell you what he didn't think would happen — Buck walking in and flipping the tablet.
The Eddie Diaz ten minutes ago is not the same Eddie Diaz now. But he's the one who has to stand here and explain. Explain why Buck should not sever the ties of their friendship now that he sees what's on the screen. Fuck.

Summary
The silence on the other end sharpens.
“What the hell is that supposed to mean?” Buck snaps.
Eddie flinches. “Nothing. I—”
“No, come on, say it. What does that mean, Eddie?” Buck pushes, voice rising.
He feels trapped, like the walls are closing in, like he’s been backed into a corner with no way out. His palms feel sweaty, chest rising and falling too fast, too shallow, like there’s not enough air in the room.
He’s angry.
He’s hurt.
He’s confused.
He’s jealous. It’s too much all at once, emotion piling on top of emotion with nowhere to go.
And it keeps coming.
And. And. And.
His body is trembling under the weight of everything he can’t say, everything he didn’t know until now.
“I’m just saying,” Eddie starts, “it’s only been a couple of weeks and now you’re fucking Tommy Kinard in my bedroom—”
“It’s not your bedroom anymore,” Buck cuts in, his voice sharp. “You made sure of that, when you left.”
Or; 8x11 coda
