Charlie Spring has loved Nick Nelson since he was fourteen. Through bullies and coming out and eating disorders, from a ten minute walk between their houses to thousands of miles away, Nick and Charlie have remained Nick-and-Charlie. Charlie wholeheartedly believes that as time has proven, nothing can change that.
Or: After Nick becomes famous from the covers he would post on Instagram singing his favorite songs for Charlie, he enters a whole different world from the one both he and Charlie are used to. There’s so many people around, all focused on Nick, and truly, Nick only has so much of himself to split between these different parts of his life.
