“… can I at least ask what you’re doing?” The custodian asked. Hongjoong yanked at the staple, the small metal piece making a tiny nick on his finger for the efforts, but the mistletoe came free. Hongjoong stepped off the chair and picked it up again, glancing at the stacks where he got it from, but then settling his gaze on the custodian.
“Making questionable decisions that could cost me my job,” Hongjoong replied cryptically, holding the chair out. The confused and concerned custodian took the chair hesitantly, and Hongjoong was making his way back to the elevator.

And when he noticed Hongjoong standing there gawking, his mouth stretched into a blinding, 1000-kilowatt smile and he raised his hand into a wave. Hongjoong thought he just about might pass out and join old Maggie in the clouds.
For some inexplicable reason, this irritated him beyond belief.
Or: Hongjoong's new neighbour is a gift sent from heaven and Hongjoong's little gay heart can't handle it.
