Summary
There’s a blizzard outside, Chōsō’s flight is delayed until further notice, he’s trapped in a hotel, and there’s only one room left. Chōsō’s willing to fight the whole lobby for the chance at a warm bed but ends up rooming with a complete stranger. If that isn’t bad enough, things fall into utter disarray when everyone is snowed in for a week with only a carry on bag to their names — or less. As the days pass, chaos escalates, the outlandish becomes the norm, and strange friendships are formed. Chōsō hopes he can make it home in time for Christmas with his family, but he finds himself wanting a little more time with the strange ball of sunshine one bed over.

“Nah, Harrington.” Billy's tongue clicks against his teeth, disappointed. “You never make a bargain before? You want something, you have to give me something in return.” His hand reaches out, still laden in heavy silver rings, just missing all the jewels of a proper, courtly king. He drags at Steve’s lower lip with his thumb in a move that feels condescending, but Steve can’t bring himself to pull away.
“I don’t understand.”
“If you want to make a deal, you need to give me something I want.” He says it slow, voice gravel and smoke. “And I only want one thing you could give me. Your devotion.”
Or, Steve goes into the Upside Down looking for a monster. He's not expecting the one he finds.
