Will’s blood begins to boil. Theatre is not easy. It’s not something somebody can just waltz into.
“Well, good luck with auditions! Hopefully you get ensemble! That’ll make it easiest for you.” Will doesn’t mean to, but he says it with a condescending tone.
“Thanks,” Mike says, sounding defeated. He gives Will an awkward smile before turning and walking away.
