“My father?” Linus blinks at her, and Danny curses the pain meds.
“Your father,” She points at Danny, clearly evaluating if they had missed a concussion. Linus’ expression clears. Attaboy.
“Of course,” He tells the nurse, grinning broadly, “My father and his partner, whom I love dearly,” Danny can already tell Linus is going to be a pain about this. It’s what he gets for trying to help. -

And that goblin had been really bloody loud.
