Almost 6 years after the Pharaoh's departure, Seto Kaiba finds his heart is growing more haunted by the absence. So imagine his surprise when the wind carries Atem's voice to his ears. And imagine his shock when a mere night later, he stumbles upon Atem, living, breathing, and passed out in his garden.
For Atem, being fully alive again after over 3000 years is an adjustment, a heavy one at that. For Kaiba, he's just happy to have Atem back, but hesitant to approach whatever it is he feels brewing in his chest, afraid that if he gets too close, he'll lose Atem, like he's lost everyone else he's ever cherished.
So naturally, the gang decides to help give Kaiba, and Atem, the push that both need to confront what's been building within both for nearly 6 years. With a little help from the Puzzle, of course.
