Hua Cheng, although he always seemed nonchalant and cold to others, acted differently around Xie Lian. His touches were hesitant, delicate, and very gentle. He was always whispering sweet nothings into Xie Lian’s ear to make him blush like crazy, holding his hand as if afraid to let go, taking him out on dates whenever they both had some free time after all the responsibilities at the university. To put it simply, they took their sweet time exploring the unfamiliar yet very wonderful path called love.
Xie Lian didn’t mind it at all. Their pace was sweet. Hua Cheng was cute.

Xie Lian glanced at the slip again, studying the strokes of each word very carefully. His lips slowly curled up into a bashful smile. With the exception of a few “desperate times call for desperate measures” situations, he’d never kissed anyone in front of an audience before. Never an audience of this size. That he would pull such a slip as this had to be purely his luck—surely not the result of a certain someone meddling with the game.
Ghost City comes together to play a bit of truth-or-dare, but Xie Lian has his own way of interpreting it.

He caught one final glimpse of Kaveh over his shoulder between the frantic flurry of activity, and his scent glands felt like they'd been stabbed clean through with a dagger.
They were giving Kaveh chest compressions.
