The robot turned on with a cheery little tune. For such a large piece of machinery, it was relatively quiet. Rhett was only a little impatient while it took its time to boot up. It looked brand new, and so life-like, dark hair with some silver streaks.
Then it’s eyes opened, and Rhett just stared. He’d never seen an AI’s eyes before in person, only ever hearing about how intense they were. The pupils expanded and contrasted, eyes blinked, and a dull expression morphed into a pleasant smile. He looked around until his eyes landed on Rhett’s above him.
