Summary
Seasonal job postings for the Dept of Fish and Wildlife went out en masse March 1st, and Sevika was always pleasantly surprised by just how many applications came across her beat up metal desk over the next few weeks. It meant she got to be choosy, and after a good 15 years of managing field crews of biological research technicians, she knew exactly what type of person she wanted to hire. So when someone named Vi showed up for an interview, when she walked into Sevika's office with the cocky swagger of a fighter entering the ring, Sevika almost told her the position was already filled. Cocky little bitches with something to prove were not Sevika's bag. Well. Not in a work context anyway…
Long story short:
Sevika has a strict no dating coworkers/subordinates policy. Vi has a strict desire to get in Sevika's pants policy. Where oh where could this possibly lead?-----------

Summary
Miranda Priestly noticed everything, she had an eye for detail, it was something she prided herself in. So when a new writer started covering articles about her at major events and not just gossip rags she noticed. ‘Andy Sachs’ was a name she seen more often than not when it came to articles about her. After the 5 year mark she noticed that these articles were often written by him, he obviously took his job seriously in Miranda’s mind because every article he wrote was flattering yet well written. Every assistant she had knew at this point that if it was written by Andy Sachs it was intended to hit her desk.

Miranda mistakes Andy for a man and finally decides she needs to meet this mystery man ten years into ‘him’ covering her presence at events.
She’s surprised to find that Andy is in-fact a woman who’s about to be her equal in the world of editing and publishing. They establish a tentative friendship together as Miranda’s life starts to fall apart.
