Summary
The broken parts of his personality stain across polished wooden floors, slipping through his fingers like sand, like blood, when he tries to force the jagged edges of himself into something that looks like a person.
The most he ever manages is the roughened, snarling shape of a maddened dog.
And some days, it’s even less than that.
He survives.
It’s enough.

Summary
Once he remembers to breathe, let alone say something, the kind stranger is gone—a smudge of a shadow against dusk. He thinks of him on his way home, thinks of how he walked that road daily and only met him now, thinks of that gentle touch despite his intimidating aura.
Keitaro flinches and groans upon forgetting to ask for his name, but... what’s the point? It’s not like they’ll ever meet again.
The cycle repeats itself in the simulation. There's always a war, always a catastrophic end, and always two friends clinging onto one another to stay afloat.

Summary
The story is about a man named Fai who dreamed of opening a café. There would be many delicious desserts, and drinks in pretty patterned cups, and large windows for the soft sunlight to stream through, and a pockmarked dartboard for the slow and lazy days, and a hidden stash of alcohol for the slower and lazier nights, and a well-loved baby grand off to the side for the occasional whimsical melody...
Most importantly, he wouldn't be alone.

Summary
It has always been Heat and Serph, Serph and Heat; the silent and wise Leader of the Embryon and his impulsive but loyal second-in-command. They were born together, emerged from the Sea of Milk together, fought together, bled together, and found solace in each other long before the events at Ground Zero. Sera's arrival changes nothing and everything all at once, and while Heat has tried so very hard to swallow the feelings for Serph that have emerged in her wake, a moment of weakness drives him to come clean to the man that had always been his other half.
Unfortunately, Serph's reaction is far from what Heat expects, and he finds his already volatile emotions boiling over in the immediate aftermath. What happens next will change Heat and Serph forever--for better or for worse.
(Or: Every avatar tuner in the Junkyard needs an emotional spark to fully awaken to their true self. This is Serph's awakening through the eyes of Heat.)
