Summary
Powered by foolhardy ambition, Stanford Pines was on the precipice of fully realising his Grand Unified Theory of Weird when divine inspiration struck. Cajoled into building an interdimensional portal by his otherworldly muse, our plucky protagonist was loathe to call in his old college buddy, reluctant to invite the vultures of the scientific community to descend upon his venture. Creating a loophole, Stanford fashioned a body for his flighty inspiration, pinning down the transcendental insight of Bill Cipher, intending to partner on this exciting new project, in more ways than one.
A wise man would have told him this was a stupid idea.
But wise men never fall in love, so how are they to know?
A canon divergent sci-fi rom-com detailing the span of events between building a body for your dream boy to watching him end the world. Featuring hits such as: discarding a lie, rejecting the truth and the mortifying ordeal of being known.

Summary
Bill Cipher has not been doing well in theraprism.
In fact, he's made such little progress that The Axolotl is no longer sure if he can be redeemed.
Bill is given one last chance: return to Gravity Falls to make amends with the Pines family and prove he can change or be permanently erased from the fabric of the universe.
He jumps at the opportunity, confident he can find a way out of his agreement, but with the Pines keeping so close an eye on him, will he succeed? Or will his new human condition bring about a change of heart he hadn't anticipated?Alternatively:
The Pines try to teach a trillion year old dream demon about love and empathy. As of right now, I’m updating this every other Sunday. If you want to know about any delays, early updates, or to come interact and check out some cool fanart, you can find me here!

I absolutely LOVE how this story is written. The way that the characters are designed, the plot, the way everything written is so poetic. This is what inspired me to join the archive and to start writing my own stories. Literally this is so amazing, I'm speechless.

Bookmarker's Notes
I love this little "essay of sorts". It's relatable to me, and it makes me feel less alone in the world. I love how somebody was able to put some of my feelings into words when I so often can't.
