Robert tilts his head slightly. “Fair point. So… aren’t you going to invite me in?”
Aaron shrugs. “I’m going home now.”
Robert moves closer so the two of them are practically toe-to-toe. A tingle spreads from Aaron’s neck to his hip.
“Invite me there instead, then,” Robert says smoothly.Aaron instinctively steps backwards, his back hitting the portacabin door. He can’t deal with this right now; it’s not how they work. They don’t do flirting in broad daylight. They barely interact when there isn’t some sort of event (and booze) dragging them together.
