Summary
“Sumino-kun…” Kirifuji's voice wavers, as if teetering on collapse. She's still feverish, but otherwise unhurt. She doesn't have the bomb in her, he realizes, and that thought sends a wave of relief and self depreciation through him. Out of anyone, he's glad that she's the one who didn't have it. Footsteps from behind him has his head shooting up in defensive alarm, but he's greeted with the sight of an strangely unharmed Aotsuki, walking over carefully and somberly.
“You're like a cockroach.” Takumi remarks quietly, bitterly.
Aotsuki doesn't say anything, lips thin and eyebrows drawn. It makes Takumi feel extra shitty, because he's the only one here drowning in his own bitterness. Aotsuki shouldn't look so damn stricken when Takumi didn't even have the leeway to feel that way.

'Goodbye Last Defense Academy' route diversion in which Takumi fails to make a steadfast decision and instead has to come to terms with a dying Kirifuji and an infuriating as ever Aotsuki on an eerily quiet planet.

Summary
“Takumi-kun,” he greets, pleased for an inexplicable reason that Takumi doesn’t want to know.
“Don’t you have other places to be?” Takumi complains, pulling a chair to sit across from Aotsuki.
“This is my usual spot,” Aotsuki says, “If anything, you’re the one in my space.”
Takumi bristles. “Well… Well, I barely study so the one time I try to, I deserve to have the space.”
Aotsuki laughs, undoubtedly at him, and it makes Takumi bristle even more.
