Summary

Until Hua Cheng comes back to handle his father’s death, and everything changes.
______________________“Hua Cheng, here to see my father,” Hua Cheng said as they stepped up to the counter. Xie Lian stood close, their fingers brushing.
“Oh,” the mortician said, nodding as he looked over at some papers. When he looked back up, his gaze landed on Xie Lian. “And he is?”
“I’m Xie Lian,” he answered with a polite smile. The mortician frowned, looking over at Hua Cheng.
“Only immediate family can come into the back with the deceased,” he said sharply. Hua Cheng’s brows rose, and then his left hand grabbed Xie Lian’s, their fingers tangling together.
“He’s my husband,” Hua Cheng said, and Xie Lian felt like his knees might give out.- Language:

Hua Cheng's expression might have revealed those urges as he drew close; he could clearly see the nervous bob of Xie Lian's throat, yet Xie Lian didn't hesitate to tilt his chin upwards to hold his gaze, baring his neck further. Pale and pristine, it had been far too long since Xie Lian's skin got properly littered with Hua Cheng's love marks. The longing reflected in Xie Lian's doe eyes confirmed that he agreed.
"I'm sorry I've been so busy. I never meant to leave you unattended." Hua Cheng's fingertips stroked just behind Xie Lian's earlobe, skimming down to where the deep collar of the shirt began. He idly toyed with the ruffles there. "You've been so patient. Will you let me make it up to you?"
A small shiver ran through Xie Lian's body. As if he didn't trust his own voice, he simply nodded.
Hua Cheng's lips curled as he leaned in. "Good boy."
