Summary
Steve could tell by the way Bucky was laying that he was cloud gazing, like they used to do when they were kids, sprawled out on the fire escape together. Steve’s eyelids would start to flutter closed, and he’d let Bucky’s words pass over him like the clouds above them did, being pushed along by the wind to far-off places they could at one point only imagine.
Just a short drabble in the "weekend memories" series, set in the same universe as "A day in the life of Steve Rogers" (though this can be read on its own).
