Sometimes, Will really, really wishes he could catch a fucking break.
As if getting dragged into the Upside Down and making everyone rescue him a second time wasn’t bad enough, this time, somehow, Will also leaves the Upside Down with the ability to read people’s minds.
At least he’s not throwing up slugs this time.or;
Will gets telepathic powers, and can't control them. Through this, he accidentally learns that his best friend is having some less than heterosexual thoughts.

Summary
Mike stared at him, hoping for an inkling of clarity, but it never came. It never did. Being around Will only ever made things more confusing.
“Yeah, whatever, man.”
As he began to walk away, Will said something behind him, his voice nearly inaudible under the all of the noise. Arcade games squealed, teenagers chattered, skates rolled and scraped around in the rink. They all seemed to stop when Will’s words registered in his mind:
“Well, what about us?”
Somewhere between a long drive through the desert, a death curse, and his hometown falling apart, Mike Wheeler is faced with the reality of his feelings for his best friend.
