“Well… Yes. I didn’t want to come off as rude, but there really is no delicate way of putting it.”
Everybody at the booth nodded in agreement.

“Well you won’t be able to do any preparations if you don’t get rest.!”
“Ginger’s right, Bobette!” Rudie nodded in agreement. He took the sickly toon’s sweater that she had changed out of, seeing as it was practically drenched with her sweat. He put it away in the hamper at the foot of the bed. “You’re clearly not okay and we won’t have it! You gotta rest!”
Bobette grumbled again as a cold rag was placed atop her head. The two couldn’t quite hear what she was saying, but they highly doubted that it was her agreeing with them.
OR
Bobette's overworked herself far too much, resulting in her catching a fever (and her friends aren't having it).

Gourdy’s gaze landed downwards. Getting called out like that made him want to sink into the floor.
“B-But, don’t feel too bad about it.” He tried to reassure, “A lot of the other toons get nightmares as well. It’s nothing to be ashamed of, it’s perfectly normal…”
The pumpkin frowned.

Gourdy's been having more nightmares recently. A late night trip to Gardenview's kitchen gives him a chance to cross paths with Astro- another main toon who is all too familiar with the harsh (yet honest) truth.

Rodger let out a small, soft laugh.
“Well, I suppose so.” He admitted, “What are you doing here at this hour? It’s quite late for you to be…here.”
“You know, just had a long day with some of the other mains— um, Astro had this whole thing he needed help with and before I knew it— y’know, time just flew by! And I guess I just wanted to see you…”
A heavy silence hung between Dandy and Rodger. That single moment seemed to last forever when their gazes locked on each other, and right now that was the only thing they could focus on.
OR
For the past few months, Rodger has been a little (read: very) occupied and stressed with his own investigation on Gardenview's ichor operation. One late night, Rodger goes back to his room for a few supplies to help him note down his findings only for him to find a certain toon inside his room.
