You’re locked in his sight again, each of you heavy–gazed with your pupils blown a bit wide. His hands don’t move at your permission, but his thumbs tighten ever so slightly against you when you slide your fingers under them, one rubbing gently at your index.

Summary
It didn’t matter how much he deviously planned and prepared. When he was with you, it was foreign. He was practically an idiotic baby in the face of genuine love. It was one underhanded game he didn’t know how to play. Azul could look for it all he wanted in board game club, but it was never there. He didn’t know the unforgiving rules, the dirty tricks, or the drastic strategy he had to use.
