    At some point in the New Sith Wars, something changed between the Mando'ade and their Jedi. Something, perhaps a Sith plot, perhaps some other kind of manipulation by those who hated how the two powerful peoples worked together so seamlessly, twisted relations between Mando'ade and Jedi, until the Mandalorians fought against the Jedi instead of beside them.
    And that became the new standard, until one fateful event was shifted ever so slightly, and a certain Mand'alor survived long enough to meet a certain Jedi Master.

     

    (Or, the one in which Mando'ade are Sentinels and Jedi are Guides, and the galaxy is better off for it in the long run.)
