Summary

Summary
Choosing a knight was supposed to be a once in a lifetime deal. And such an occasion meant it was supposed to be something that Maka could take her time deciding. But with their country at war, her father had made it his personal mission to badger his daughter into picking one as soon as humanly possible.
It was a mission that had ended in failure year after year. The more her dad insisted, the more Maka dug in her heels.
So now that she’d finally made her choice, what right did he have to complain? Never mind the fact that the person she wanted was a recent deserter from the witches. Never mind that they’d nearly killed her once before they’d switched sides. Never mind any of it. Because when she looked at Crona, for once in her life she felt like it was the easiest decision she’d ever have to make.
