The MSBY Black Jackals were vacationing on an island when lockdown measures were put in place due to a pandemic. While the rest of their teammates managed to get on the last flight back to Japan, Kiyoomi and Atsumu didn't make it.
To be stuck in close quarters with your enemy-slash-teammate in a foreign country for an indefinite period of time...it shouldn’t be too bad, right?

Atsumu is about to counter that, but he catches the shift in Sakusa’s expression — minuscule, but Atsumu knows him enough to be able to tell that he’s actually thinking about this. He thinks about it for a good twenty seconds before his tiny frown fades into a look of resignation. “I could try something different.”
