Summary
Every eighty years, the people of Aedes Elysiae sacrifice a young woman to the ancient being which haunts their forest-bound village. It is the only way to protect everything they hold dear, to keep the shadows that once ate the rest of the world from eating them too.
After centuries of this uneasy peace, it appears the creature's tastes in food have changed.
Now it is Phainon who will be given to the one too terrible to name.

Yukiko and Chie. Naoto and Kanji. Rise and some random guy in her year, Even stupid Teddie is flirting, successfully, with a new Junes hire. Yosuke was the only one in the group who was alone except for...Yu, of course. He didn't like his partner, not like that at all, but just in a completely platonic, bro-type way. Sure, they texted every day, called each other late at night almost every day, and sent pictures to each other as if they were dating. But they weren't, Yosuke would never allow these moments to grow anymore than they should.
But, Yu was back in small-town Inaba for summer break and the summer heat is affecting Yosuke in more ways than one.
Note: The first chapter will not have anything explicit, but the second chapter will be a bit more spicy :3.
