    Ilya's breath shudders, he plants a kiss on top of Shane's chest where his heart is and then turns to the cartoon again. He doesn't remember when somebody called him that. Maybe Svetlana, but that was years ago.

    Shane never really understood the hype around having a pet. The concept makes sense he supposes, for younger children.
    A great way to help teach young kids about responsibility and compassion, with a cute fluffy companion to help motivate them. But still, they’ve always seemed like more trouble than they're worth.

    while dogs have never been Shanes thing, he's happy that if theres one thing he and Anya both
    can agree on its that Ilya deserves all the love and happiness in the word.
