“Obito asked me where some of his stuff is,” Rin comments one day, kicking her feet and not even looking at Kakashi as if she's just talking about the weather.
“Uhuh,” Kakashi eloquently says, suddenly feeling very hot and grateful for the mask covering his face. “Figures the idiot loses his stuff.” There, a perfectly reasonable answer.
Rin hums, it sounds amused, it sounds as if she knows exactly where Obito’s things are and she’s only humoring him.
But that's ridiculous, right?

After all, he made quite the striking figure. Wild orange hair, a permanent scowl, and power that clung tightly to his skin, it really was not an exaggeration that everyone knew him, or at the least, knew about him.
Everyone, it seemed but Urahara Kisuke himself.
The very same Urahara Kisuke who as of today was the captain of the 12th.

The next thing he knows, a sea of curious eyes has landed on him. Yoo Joonghyuk stops a murderer's son from jumping and it's getting harder to convince himself that he cares for Kim Dokja's life more than Kim Dokja himself.
