When a Fatui Harbinger steps up to the bar of angel's share, Kaeya puts on his best diplomatic smile in hopes of convincing Diluc to not burn down the tavern or start any political disputes. Only, with a few muttered words in Snezhnayan—since when did Diluc even know Snezhnayan?—a bottle of wine is passed over more easily than Kaeya ever managed to get one, and they leave the bar without another word.
Excuse his language but, what the actual fuck?

Summary
Two weeks after Diluc's ninth birthday, his father, an ill-tempered man whom he has always been afraid of, arrives home with a strange, quiet boy, perhaps a year or two older than him. His skin is a warm, beautiful brown, his hair so black that it appears almost blue in the daylight, and he does not smile. “This is Kaeya,” his father tells him, brimming with adoration. Summary
