Day 24 Prompt for Whumptober 2023: “I’ve got a head full of chemicals; mouth full of ridicule.”
    .
Luke’s crash landing was… the least of his problems. At least, it didn’t rank first on his ‘things that have gone abysmally wrong today’ list. No, what ranked first was the fact that Vader had crash landed on the same planet, and his comm was not working. He could see, far off on the horizon, a plume of smoke rising into the sky. It had to be the wreckage of Vader’s ship, and Luke wondered if perhaps the man had died in the crash.
He didn’t know how to feel about the possibility and pushed it firmly aside.
First things first; determining what could be salvaged from the wreckage of his X-wing, and then making his way on foot.
