    No one had noticed Charlie open his eyes, so he shut them so he could have a few minutes to collect his thoughts and maybe puzzle together how he ended up in a hospital bed before his parents, specifically his Mum, inevitably shouted at him. Ever so slowly, memories from the last few days hit him. He suddenly was fully aware of the fight he had with Nick, his boyfriend. Could he still call him that? His boyfriend? Every horrible thing Charlie had said to Nick that night flooded his head as tears pricked his eyes.
