Summary
Ray has lived most of his life thinking existing felt like pulling teeth, but he can’t deny that he’s spoiled; he has wanted for nothing, but with Sand, now it’s a completely different story. He refuses to let Ray affect him any more than is necessary, and that’s what has been burrowing under Ray’s skin like a maddening itch.
When Ray steps in closer, gets right up in Sand’s face to poke and prod at his defenses, bargaining for his company, the easier it is to see that Sand’s not completely unaffected.

“You’re making a mess,” Pran says, darkly.
“Why don’t you help me clean up, then?” Pat means for it to sound like a challenge, but it falls flat because of how breathless he is.
Pran regards Pat quietly for a moment, eyes roaming all over Pat’s face — long enough for Pat to squirm underneath the weight of his stare. He gasps sharply when Pran leans in to lick a slow, hot stripe up the side of his neck.
Well, that’s certainly one way to clean up, Pat thinks faintly, when Pran looks back at him with a hint of a smirk on his lips.
“Was that helpful?” Pran asks innocently.

On days like this, Pran seems to enjoy the control — how Pat turns to putty in his hands, under his mouth, completely succumbing to his heat.

Pat flutters a hand up Pran’s cheek, and he presses in his index finger, dipping it into the gentle curve of his dimple. “A lot of things,” he says, smirking down at Pran. He uses the hand to tilt Pran’s head up so he can kiss him again.
“I was your drummer in the band.”
“I saved you from Korn and the gang.”
Pat keeps kissing him between each sentence.
“I helped you get the sponsorship.”
And again.
“I even kept your guitar for you.”
And again.
