Summary
What angers Hyuntak the most about the situation is that he didn't see it coming. Of course, after the Union disbands, another gang comes rushing in to fill the empty spot left by it. It's all power play, after all. Baekjin was the strongest, and that's why he stood over all those other little gangs.
Now that he's gone, the second best gets the top spot.
It's an exhausting ordeal.

Summary
"Moonjo…" he says when he finally meets his eyes. "What would you do if… if you were dating someone?"
Moonjo watches him for a few seconds before planting a sharp kiss on his neck. The hair on Jongwoo’s arms stands on end.
"I think you should already know."
Before Jongwoo can process it and respond, Moonjo adds:
"There would just be one extra thing I would do."
Jongwoo bites the inside of his cheek, curious.
"What?"
Moonjo’s dark eyes drop from Jongwoo’s and settle on his mouth. Jongwoo feels the hand leave his waist and watches it rise toward his face. Moonjo extends his thumb and lightly presses it against Jongwoo’s lower lip before looking back up at him.
"I would kiss right here."

Go Hyun-tak was not weak. Sure, he is impulsive, short-tempered, and a little crazy sometimes. But he was certainly not weak. Not at all.
Until Keum Seong-je made him weak. Weak in the knee, weak in the heart. Seong-je got back into Hyun-tak's life like a wolf hunting for prey, with that disturbing smile, piercing eyes and the fucking scent.
Hyun-tak doesn't understand why. But he knows he doesn't want Seongje to leave. He doesn't understand why he himself kept showing up, falling for the bait of that sly predator.

He could feel Seongje’s eyes on him, they moved up and down then stopped on his side profile.
“You’re jumpy tonight," Seongje said, his voice closer now like he’d taken another step while Hyuntak wasn’t looking.
Hyuntak, who had a frown and a pout now, whipped around ready to fire back but Seongje was right there—too close. His dark hair fell into his eyes behind his glasses and he tilted his head slightly.
He was a beautiful man. It was making Hyuntak so damn uncomfortable.

Every week, Hyuntak’s neighbor repeats the same story to whoever he has over, and every time, they laugh like it’s the funniest thing. It’s driving Hyuntak more than a little crazy.
