Summary
Set in Last Life (3rd life S2) in episode 4 when Grian drops down to red life for the first time.
Loosely inspired by the 'there's a way we could still be friends' scene between Grian and Mumbo. Of course I watched that and the little hamster wheels in my brain started turning like 'What if he'd really gone for Mumbo?' and then we spiraled from there. I got inspired as well by the scene before that, where he shows up to threaten Scar, and as well by another fic I read with a similar concept that I really liked, which I will tag.Basically a very fucked up dark!Grian story. It will contain explicit depictions of noncon, dubcon, violence, suicide, rape aftermath, discussion of more extreme violence and major character death, and temporary character death involving respawn mechanics. I've gotten more specific in the tags, so check those if there's any chance you might be triggered.
