"Draw one for me, Jinnie."
Words dripping with curiosity and expectant wonder, whispered while they lay side-by-side on Changbin's bed, shoulder-to-shoulder as they stare down at the sketchbook Hyunjin has been leafing through for the better part of the evening.
The smile that spreads on Changbin's face is always so insecure as he awaits Hyunjin's response, and he hates that slight flicker of fear hidden so deep within his gaze whenever Hyunjin hesitates, a flash of rejection that somehow manages to appear so much stronger than the endless display of adoration right beside it.
He hates that, every time Hyunjin awkwardly flips a page, redirecting Changbin's gaze and attention elsewhere with a callous chuckle or dismissive wave and he sees the light fading from Changbin's eyes, it destroys him a little more each time.
Or, Hyunjin hopelessly pines and struggles, and Minho decides to finally take matters into his own hands.

"You love when I call you mine in front of everyone, don't you? You love when I stake my property for the world to see."
"Yours." Hyunjin breathes out, the word a prayer, muffled by Changbin's thumb and spit, a mess that coats his lips and drips down his chin.
"Mine." Changbin agrees. "Always."
His hand drops to Hyunjin's cheek, the other brushes his hair behind his ear. Endearing, intimate, a caress so gentle that Hyunjin can't help but lean into the touch, the contrast between this and the way Changbin handles him so sharp, almost painful.
"Do you have any idea how beautiful you look right now?"
Hyunjin whimpers.

"Trying to get me drunk?" Hyunjin teased, though his voice came out quiet, soft as it became only in the presence of a certain man.
"Maybe." Changbin’s reply was low, casual in a way that wasn’t quite casual at all. His eyes found Hyunjin’s, searching for something and holding it tight when he did. He clinked their glasses together gently then, a faint curve tugging at his mouth. "Just making sure you remember… tonight, it’s only us."
The words settled over Hyunjin like a warm hand, pressing tender but certain between his shoulder blades.
Or, the one where they just moved in together and decide to properly break in the house.
