She blinked at him a few times, slowly. Almost confused, at him, or herself — She wasn’t entirely sure. She hadn’t even thought about it before she replied, “Yeah.”

Nightmares are nothing new. Jinx suffers with them more often than she does not - and so Silco finds himself awake at odd hours of the night because of this. He has grown used to it.
He has not grown used to waking up at odd hours of the night from his own nightmares. Especially not with Jinx looking on, little and scared.
