We are writing to give notice to a change in policy with regards to guest access to our building’s gym and pool facilities for the months of July and August.
Henceforth, all guests wishing to make use of the building’s amenities must be accompanied by a resident.
If Phoenix comes out in anything but a full wetsuit, Miles wonders if he can find an interim Chief Prosecutor for a few months and take a sabbatical. Maybe he could flee back to Germany. Perhaps they are in need of a Chief Prosecutor in Alaska, or somewhere else suitably frigid and far, far away from Phoenix Wright and his horribly perfect ass.

Summary
To say it had been a shock to see Phoenix across the courtroom from him that first time would be an understatement. Phoenix was an old, warm memory gone cold with time and von Karma’s influence. But facing that nervous smile, that brightly determined gaze, had cleared some of the fog. It had forced him to remember that sunlight existed. To realize it lived in too-kind eyes.
The gaze Phoenix fixes him with now is as dark and unsettling as a day that begins without dawn.
While Miles has been making his slow way to spring, Phoenix has fallen into winter.

Summary
Miles watches Phoenix draw another heart in the sand. His mind feels quicker than usual, jumping from thought to thought, to the last time they saw each other in Phoenix’s office, to the feeling of his tears hot on Miles’s shirt, to the coffee from this morning still buzzing in his body. He watches Phoenix in silence for a moment, transfixed by the way his finger carves shapes into the shifting sand.
“I’ve been thinking,” he says. “About the last time we saw each other. Six months ago. In your office.”
Over magic tricks, glasses of wine, stubborn grains of sand clinging to their hair, and the fear that an ill advised meeting at Phoenix’s office following his disbarment months before has tainted their relationship, Miles hosts Phoenix and his new ward at his beach house.
