Summary
Chock full of love interests that raise so many alarms that a fire station would be impressed, a mind numbingly dull heroine that takes feminism back at least 50 years, and an incoherent plot that only serves to move the characters from one cliché scenario to another, it’s a marvel to Ochako that this manga even managed to become serialized. Then again, maybe it was gaining momentum from readers like her, who only continued reading because the manga felt like watching an oncoming car crash that they couldn’t seem to look away from—not to mention the much more interesting, yet hilariously unintentional, homoerotic subtext between the two main love interests was an added bonus.

ochako wakes up as the heroine in a shitty shoujo manga and spends most of her time shipping her own love interests with each other. however, she slowly begins to realize that maybe these characters aren’t as one-note as they seem, especially the spiky blonde-haired delinquent that she ropes into her antics.
