It wasn't refusal that fueled the rabbit's words, no, it was outright challenging the hound. Luring Alyosha in under the guise of being a harmless little thing, fearful in the gaze of its predator– all while carefully considering the best angle for its jumpy hind legs to kick at next.
Having fallen fully at the hound's mercy, Lohen's lips still curled into a provocative smile as he declared boldly, “Have fun trying to tame me. I'm a wild thing that just loves to bite the hand that feeds it.”
“That so? Make sure to bite down fiercely, then. I prefer scars that remain deep.”, Alyosha retorted amusedly.
Alyosha hunts down a little rabbit to domesticate, Lohen wonders if it can really be so hard to tell rabbits and mutts apart from each other.
